Hybrid – London

£45,000 – £55,000 + car allowance

We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work on an exciting rail project and further their career advancement within the infrastructure sector.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the NEC3 forms of contract, as well as having a degree in a field related to construction. The role will involve both pre and post contract quantity surveying support. Working in a client-focused environment, it will be expected that this person can effectively communicate and present.

Requirements:

BSc in Commercial Management/Quantity Surveying or other construction related subject and/or substantial previous experience in a similar position.
Detailed knowledge, understanding and previous experience of NEC contracts.
Ability to review, manipulate, and summarize data with solid Excel and numeracy skills.
Monitored expenditure against Purchase Orders, requesting uplifts where required.
Possess a fair level of construction knowledge, e. g. the impact of program lengths on the prelims, etc.
Possess strong interpersonal abilities, be able to collaborate with others on larger teams, and interact with the supply chain of clients.
