Shift Production Manager
Location: Northwest, London
Salary: £63,000
Shifts: Fully flexible – Days, nights and weekends
Hours per week: 40 hours average
Duration: Perm
Start date: ASAP

Position Summary
This role is based around working in a busy rolling stock maintenance facility. The roles responsibility is to manage your shift and the workers within that, to ensure full vehicle availability into safe service. You will be responsible for ensuring that all production, quality and safety targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
* Managing Production Teams.
* Monitoring and controlling production.
* Making workers accountable.
* Organising tasks and the workforce.
* Ensuring safety standards are met (HSE).
* Regular staff reviews.
* Implement control measures.
* Maintain industrial relations.
* Implement and management disciplinary procedures.
* Liaise with the customer.
Qualifications/Skills:
* Engineering based qualification (HND, HND, NVQ, Apprenticeship)
* IT Skills (Microsoft packages, SAP, emails)
* Good communicator (verbal, written, presentations, reporting)
* Ability to manage large teams.
* Able to make key decisions with the safety critical framework.
