A business development manager with dedicated focus on the Rail and Transportation sector required to grow their presence and credibility in the Rail and Transportation sector and develop long-term key relationships and business.

Many of the projects are bespoke designs, so ability to be able to support customers technically, offer solutions, and take responsibility as the customer interface in all areas and in all aspects is key .

The Rail sector is challenging, but it has great government funding and longevity, so the opportunity is vast and there is scope to really reap rewards for the business and yourself

You will be:

Responsible for development and generation of customer orders focused on Rail, transportation and associated industrial customers

Utilize networks and relationships to grow sales in both projects and recurring long-term contracts

Creates industry network, continually identifies new customers and increases sales pipeline

Acts as champion for business and always presents themselves and business correctly

Is expert in the field and provides initial technical input and concepts; builds relationships and networks to enable sales targets

Follows quote and all other associated processes, via strong commercial acumen, maximises profit for business
