Foreman

Location – Bristol, Temple Point

Salary – £40,000 – £47,000 plus Car Allowance

We are currently looking to recruit a Foreman who will be have supervisory responsibility over delivering railway projects in the Bristol area within the Western Region of NR (SW Bristol and North Chippenham initially). In addition, coordinating suppliers, subcontractors to deliver on safety, quality and environmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities;

Ensure that works are undertaken in accordance with all HSE legislation.
Ensure that risk assessments and method statement are maintained. Ensure they remain on target and problems are resolved or notified to relevant personnel.
Use specialist software to assist in project delivery for CAD and 4Projects.
Effectively manage site reporting such as record sheet and site diaries etc.
Ensure that robust on site quality procedures are established, employed and undertake daily checks.
Ensure that plant is inspected to meet PUWER guidelines.
Assist in developing and implementing opportunities for improvement, which overcome problems and mitigate risks.
Clearly and effectively delegate works amongst the site teams whilst being aware of ability and training.
Make effective use of document control to manage information.
Undertake regular checks to ensure the workforce are meeting quality standards.
Actively manage own self-development to ensure training is up to date.
Ideal Candidate;

Experience of working on network rail projects in a rail environment
CSCS
Sentinel COSS, desirable
Personal Track Safety (PTS)
Experience of earthwork renewals, soil nailing and drainage works, desirable
