Train Station Cleaner

Railway Executives are currently looking for a Train Station Cleaner at Haddenham & Thame Station

Shift’s:
Monday – Friday: 3hrs P/D (AM)
Saturday: 2 hrs (AM)

17 hours per week – Can be flexible on times

The company now provides its services in a range of sectors covering Aviation, Rail, Events and Exhibitions, Retail, Education, Commercial and Industrial within the Facilities Management arena.

Role Overview

Your role may include (but it is not limited to): –

Attend to the shift at the time stipulated and carry out all duties allocated to you by your Supervisor and/or duty Manager
To provide efficient and effective cleaning support to allocated site, ensuring that the appearances of the stations are maintained to contract and to a high standard at all times
Awareness & understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to health)
Ensuring you understand and comply with both Teamwork Health and Safety regulations and any site-specific procedures.
Following company policy in dealing with customer comments and complaints.
Ensuring security procedures are followed at all times.
Washbasin & Fittings, toilets, baby changing facility etc to be clean, free from stains and soiling.
Toiletries to be fully replenished, soap, toilet paper etc.
All surfaces to be free from any obvious marks, staining & smearing.
Hard floors to be washed and free from fresh gum, stains and spillages.
Report any faults to station managers and teamwork management.
Emptying waste bins around the concourse.
· Remove liners from recycling cups stand and replace with new liner and damp wipe the stands.

· Litter pick around the platforms and concourse.

· Sweep outside remove cigarettes and debris from flooring including the carpark.

· Remove rubbish etc from station windowsills.

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous cleaning experience ideally from within a similar working environment.
Have exceptional attention to detail.
Be flexible to work outside of contracted hours when required.
Have great customer service skills.
Have an excellent can-do attitude.
Possess a willingness to learn new things and progress when opportunities arise.
