Track Construction Supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Track Construction Supervisor based in Kingsbury, Warwickshire.

What you’ll be doing

As a Track Construction Supervisor you will be working across all sites

TR13 Ensure Track is fit and safe for operational use following construction activities
Raising and Removal of Temporary Speed Restrictions
Audit/review of completed Inspections and Test plans for any discrepancies and are rectified in advance of handback of track
Produce a report including records of snagging defects and photographic evidence of damage
Represent the BBV Joint Venture on any Supplementary track inspections relating to the project works
Support AMP Co-ordinator and the sites on dilapidation/snagging/Non- Compliances to standards
Ensure competence of sub-contractor staff in relation to the track discipline
Reporting during Blockade Possessions, Disruptive Possessions and Rules of Route

The ideal candidate:

Knowledge and years of experience of rail /civils construction practice including compliance management
Excellent communication and management skills to be able to influence others.
Understands quality processes through design and construction of civil engineering projects from design through to commissioning / entry into service and handover to client
Understands interfaces between engineering disciplines involved in the project.
