Rail & Rail Systems Engineering Level 6

Systems Engineers work across various schemes spanning railway, highway and defence sectors delivering a whole system led approach in the delivery of the projects. We are at the forefront of the delivery of a project, through our broad engineering knowledge that spans all disciplines (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Civil etc) and engineering management skills in ensuring that we are delivering an integrated system or project. Systems Engineers are at the heart of understanding the customer and stakeholder needs and ensuring that the project requirements and interfaces are managed through the design, installation, testing/commissioning, operation, maintenance, and obsolescence management phases of the project lifecycle.
This programme will see you obtain a BSc Rail & Rail Systems Engineering Level 6.
This is a 4.5 -5.5-year programme
Minimum requirements – you will need 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at level 4 – 9 (Previously A-C) or equivalent PLUS 3 A levels at B grade this must include Maths or Physics or BTEC level 3 extended diploma in relevant subject or equivalent totalling 128 UCAS points.

You will:
Be a UK/EU/EAA resident for at least three years prior to starting the course and have the right to work in the UK
18 (Level 6) years old and have left full time education when the apprenticeship starts
Be able to present information in a clear and concise manner
Be a team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
Be Innovative
Be resilient and the ability to deal with ambiguity
Be analytical with good sense for numbers and digital skills
