We are looking for an experienced Rolling Stock Electrical Technician who can help implement new lockout and tagout procedures across Rolling Stock Maintenance Depots.

Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) refers to specific practices and procedures to protect employees from unexpected activation’s and start-ups by dangerous machines and equipment. The LOTO procedures also protect employees from the release of hazardous energy during service and maintenance activities.

Therefore, must have a strong rolling stock of electrical technicians so that you can ensure all energy sources are isolated.

Personal Profile for the Electrical Technician

The Electrical Technician must be able to demonstrate a sound understanding on EMU maintenance procedure in a mainline depot.
Good communication skills and strong attention to detail is essential.
Natural leadership and teamwork qualities are required.

Qualifications for the Electrical Technician

Completion of a recognised apprenticeship
Minimum qualification required: NVQ Level 3 in an electrical discipline.
