Commercial Manager Required

We are actively seeking ambitious, highly motivated Commercial Managers/ Senior Commercial Managers to work on infrastructure commissions for clients including HS2, Network Rail, Transport for London and Highways England.

Applicants should be experienced in delivering major infrastructure projects, with a background in highways, heavy and light rail, utilities or other civil engineering delivery. Knowledge and experience of NEC3 / NR contracts suite is desirable.

You should be able to demonstrate the ability to support project leaders in maintaining high standards of service delivery in a challenging and fast-moving environment, while achieving successful outcomes for the clients. Your core duties will involve:

Providing accurate commercial and cost management advice and reporting to clients
Leading or supporting the successful delivery of projects, and commissions
Effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects/commissions; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
Undertaking service delivery with minimal supervision and guidance
Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
Providing commercial management support to the broader project team
Developing strong collaborative relationships with client and clients’ supply chain staff that will support the achievement of project goals
Negotiating and corresponding with clients
Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner
Experience required

Relevant educational background including degree or apprenticeship
Professional institution membership (CICES, RICS, ICE, etc), qualified or working towards qualification
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant sectors
Technical delivery experience gained within civil engineering projects
Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills
Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude
