Drainage Engineer

Are you an experienced Drainage Engineer with railway experience?

Following continued growth in our rail division, we’re looking to recruit both a Drainage Engineer and a Senior Drainage Engineer with proven railway experience.

Drainage Engineer responsibilities:

Depending on your level of experience, your day-to-day responsibilities could include:

Assisting or leading CCTV surveys of drainage systems
Operating or supporting high-pressure jetting equipment
Installing patch liners and undertaking other remedial works
Lifting and securing manhole covers
Entering and working in confined spaces
Maintaining drainage vehicles and equipment
Plotting drawings and recording site information
Supporting or leading site teams to complete works safely and efficiently
Responding to emergency callouts (where required).

Drainage Engineer requirements:

Experience in rail drainage works (essential)
Minimum 5 years’ rail experience
PTS, AC, and DCCR required
COSS qualification (advantageous but not essential)
A full UK driving licence
Good communication and teamwork skills
A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
Experience in drainage, civils or utilities (advantageous but not essential)
Valid CSCS card (desirable)
Experience in rail drainage works (desirable).
