Warehouse Manager

Location: Crewe

Appointment Basis: Permanent

Salary: £50K – £55K + Benefits (Dependent on Experience)

Closing Date: 14th February 2025.

 

Your future role:

Day-to-day, you’ll implement and run Logistics standards for physical material flow (goods reception, warehousing, picking, line replenishment, and shipping). We’ll look to you to;

Ensure optimisation of warehousing, packaging and physical flows.
In close interaction with project teams, coordinate the whole set of Supply Chain activities to ensure SC contribution.
Manage the logisitcs team: recruitment, workload organization, KPI’s and individual targets, development, team animation and information cascading.
Successfully deploy and Manage standard processes and tools (with Business Information Systems), best-practices and animate continuous improvement to reach world-class excellence in Supply Chain
Communicate effectively with the management team and staff through daily channels ensuring KPI’s are discussed and acted upon.

Supply Chain Management experience
Experience in warehouse/materials management
Computer literacy and SAP Warehouse Management and Inventory Management experience
Health and Safety knowledge
Problem Solving Techniques
Knowledge of the domestic market
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
Good Presentation and Communication skills
Management of Safety/Quality/Delivery/Costs
Inventory levels and accuracy
Supplier Delivery Performance and Overdues
SAP supply chain data quality objectives are met.
Tooling & Material Supply.

 

Desirable:

Work experience from Rail, Construction or Project industry
knowledge of railway industry
UK Driving Licence
