Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fee Earner (MOJ) to join our dynamic Fast Track Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and progressing client cases, ensuring high standards of service and compliance with legal regulations. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about law and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

 

 

Responsibilities

Responsible for a high-volume caseload of RTA MOJ Portal claims, following the MOJ process and best practise, in order to progress your claims from inception through to settlement.
Manage a caseload of fast track personal injury claims from inception to conclusion, ensuring timely progression through the MOJ process.
Conduct thorough assessments of claims, gathering necessary documentation and evidence to support cases.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on their claims and addressing any queries or concerns.
Liaise with third parties, including insurers and medical professionals, to facilitate the smooth handling of cases.
Prepare and submit relevant legal documents and correspondence in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate records and case management systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with internal policies.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes within the department.
Assess quantum to include reviewing medical reports and researching/obtaining relevant case law
Run litigated cases under Part 8B of the Civil Procedure Rules

 

Essential Skills/Experience

Previous experience in handling fast track personal injury claims is essential.
Working knowledge of the pre-action protocol for low value personal injury claims in RTAs.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
Proven ability to manage multiple cases effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software is advantageous.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong negotiation skills.
