We are working with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies (currently operating 464 stations, the most of any TOC in the UK), who are seeking to recruit a Train Cleaner to join the train cleaning team at Neville Hill Depot, Leeds.
We are a stock market recognised recruitment agency, specialising in the transportation, infrastructure, construction and engineering sectors on both permanent and contract basis.
The company covers the whole of the North, which includes the Northeast & West of England, Yorkshire and the Humber, as well as the occasional part of the East Midlands and Staffordshire. As a result of this, they have a large fleet of trains – 333 to be precise, so it’s safe to say you will be active & busy with your role!
We are looking to hire someone with a ‘go getter’ attitude who isn’t afraid to get stuck in and can lead a team by example.
The Role:
We are currently looking for an individual to join the night shift cleaning team as a Train Cleaner based at the Neville Hill Depot. As a Train Cleaner you will be carrying out all aspects of interior and exterior cleaning, which includes duties such as:
• Hoovering/dusting/sweeping
• Mopping
• Sanitizing touch points
• Cleaning/restocking toilets
• Cleaning graffiti
• Changing bins
• Picking up litter.
You will be working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with working hours being 20:15 – 06:15.

Pay Rate & Benefits:
The pay rate for the team leader position will be at £13.05 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.
