Key responsibilities:

Project Coordination: Assist in day-to-day project coordination, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Client and Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other project stakeholders through effective communication and timely reporting. Supporting the PM & delivery team in presenting deliverables via key stakeholder meetings
Team Support: Assist in developing and supporting high-performing project teams, potentially encompassing diverse technical disciplines and specialisms.
Contract and Commercial Management: Help administer project contracts, monitor performance, and ensure efficient resource utilization and cost control.
Risk Management: Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact project delivery.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and contribute to internal and external project progress reporting.
Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) Compliance: Contribute to fostering a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.

We’re seeking a proactive, detail-focused individual to help ensure the successful delivery of projects through all phases—meeting deadlines, staying within budget, and upholding the highest quality standards. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in promoting safety and environmental responsibility throughout each stage of the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include working closely with the project delivery team monitoring project progress and reporting against key milestones using established tools and processes. You’ll contribute to the development and upkeep of support systems that enable the Project Manager to handle change efficiently and with confidence.

A key part of your role will involve managing contractor possession and isolation applications, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. You’ll also track contractor performance and prepare regular progress reports, helping keep projects on schedule and stakeholders informed.

 

In order to be successful in this role, we would like you to have/to be:

Some management experience including project management.
Educated to HND/HNC or similar standard.
HSQE awareness, issues and principles
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word/ Excel/ Powerpoint)
Excellent industry knowledge
Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering Structure projects on NR Infrastructure
Hold current PTS, SMSTS (or equivalent) and CSCS
Strong communication skills at all levels and the ability to converse confidently in front of key stakeholders
Ability to handle conflicting priorities across stakeholders and subcontractors.

 

We would also like but it isn’t crucial to have/to be:

Membership (or working towards membership of) the Association for Project Management.
A degree or equivalent.
Knowledge of safety, quality, environmental, commercial and financial aspects.
Understanding of possession planning.
