Site Engineer with Equipment

Job Title: Site Engineer with equipment 

Location: Tonbridge  

Start Date: ASAP 

Day Rate: £300 – £325 per day depending on experience 

The role:

My client  are an established Civil Engineering Contractor who specialise in enabling works and earthworks are looking for a Site Engineer with Equipment to join them on a temporary basis who will be responsible for setting out reinforced concrete walls.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage site operations and personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
Monitor and report on the progress of construction activities.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines and regulations.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure proper design implementation.
Inspect and assess the quality of work done, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
Conduct regular site meetings to track project progress and resolve any issues.
Manage material procurement and oversee inventory on site.
Prepare daily and weekly reports on progress, issues, and solutions.
 

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering practices.
Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in using project management and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
