About the role:
As part of our team, you will oversee the resource desk operations as part of a 24/7 roster, collaborating closely with our Train Service Delivery and Network Rail colleagues. Your responsibilities will include forward planning of services, implementing emergency train plans, managing service disruption and service recovery, as well as providing support to colleagues who may require additional assistance, alongside various administrative tasks.
The role is dynamic and in high demand. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring timely service delivery for our customers while also addressing the needs of our crew. This is a desk-based role that involves utilising various specialised computer software, specific to the railway industry. Once your shift begins, you will take charge and oversee the crew in your assigned area of the network.

Applicants must also meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the role of Crew Delivery Manager.
Be naturally proactive with a good eye for detail.
A good understanding and Knowledge of the GWR network.
Having the ability to pass safety critical information to colleagues by phone.
Computer literate in Office 365 (training will be provided for rail specific IT applications)
Professional, clear communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidates must have reliable transportation for commuting to and from work, as train services may not always be available. It’s important that you can travel to and from work independently, especially since some shifts may occur outside of regular working hours.
Working shifts up to 12 hours including weekends and public bank holidays.
