New Business Sales Engineer| Poole (Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office) | £40,000 – £45,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance

 

Are you a confident sales professional with a talent for opening doors and building trusted relationships from the ground up? Do you enjoy turning insight into opportunity and closing sales that deliver real technical value?

 

As a New Business Sales Engineer, you’ll take the lead in winning new industrial and OEM accounts for a growing engineering business that partners with leading global component manufacturers. Using a mix of data-driven outreach, lead follow-up and relationship-based sales, you’ll secure new orders across high-quality mechanical product lines, including bearings, springs and other precision-engineered parts.

 

This is a hybrid role based in Poole with flexibility to work remotely and visit prospects as needed. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team, working closely with marketing, SDRs, and technical sales colleagues to support conversion.

As a New Business Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

– Winning new business from pre-qualified, high-value OEM targets
– Progressing inbound and SDR-generated leads through discovery to close
– Reactivating some dormant accounts and identifying new commercial opportunities
– Using CRM tools and outreach cadences to manage your pipeline
– Collaborating with marketing on campaigns and technical teams for product support
– Meeting monthly and quarterly new sales targets

 

As a New Business Sales Engineer, your skills and experience will include:

– Experience in technical or industrial sales
– A track record in new business development
– Confidence engaging with engineering buyers and decision-makers
– Familiarity with structured outreach, CRM tools, and data-driven prospecting
– A consultative, collaborative, and professional approach
