A growing specialist manufacturer is on the lookout for a Quality Engineer to strengthen their team. This position offers the chance to work on a diverse range of products while ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance are consistently met.
Main Responsibilities
Working closely with the Quality Manager and the wider quality team, you’ll take ownership of a variety of quality assurance tasks.
The role will see you:
Taking responsibility for quality planning, auditing, monitoring, and reporting across the business.
Preparing Quality Plans and Inspection/Test Plans for valves, filters, and dryers, ensuring alignment with legislation, industry standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
Acting as a point of technical support for colleagues and departments on quality-related matters.
Playing a key role in investigations, supporting corrective and preventative measures (including 8D and other root cause analysis activities).
Assisting with the continual improvement of audit processes within the business.
Compiling and presenting KPI data for reviews and management meetings.
Helping to oversee internal NCRs and supplier GRRNs, ensuring issues are logged, tracked, and resolved.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to support business performance.
Carrying out any other quality-related duties requested by the HSQE Manager.
The Candidate
An engineering qualification.
Previous experience in a quality assurance role.
Competence in the use of quality inspection tools and techniques.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methods (8D, root cause analysis, etc.).
Familiarity with NCR/GRRN processes would be advantageous.

Salary & Benefits
£30,000 – £36,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications).
