Health, Safety and Environmental Manager                                     

 

South of Stratford upon Avon

 

 

 

Are you an experienced Health and Safety Specialist?  Are you looking for a new challenge where you can utilise your skills?

 

We are supporting our client in the search for an Safety and Environment Manager based out of their state of the art facility in Stratford upon Avon.   You will be responsible for site and asset management to enable the safe delivery of site activities through the development of risk-based systems and assurance processes.

 

 

You will also be involved in;

You will champion a safe delivery culture across all aspects of the site.

Ensuring alignment with Health and Safety arrangements are in line with the company health & safety strategy.

You’ll develop, implement and maintain the site health and safety management system to ensure alignment with the Railways and other systems to ensure continued certification to ISO 45001:2018

Develop and main a site safety risk register supported by a suite of risk assessments

You’ll ensure suitable arrangements are in place for the safety management of contractors and also any events that take place

Conduct site safety inspections and audits and produce regular reports to include site related Health & Safety and KPIs.

 

 

What you’ll have;

You will have a strong Health and Safety background within an Engineering/Manufacturing or similar type industry.  Rail would be highly desirable

You’ll hold a NEBOH Certificate or equivalent

Experience with ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 or 45001:2018

You will be a trained risk assessor and Accident investigator

Conversant with Health and safety and Environmental Legislation and industry standards
