Reach Truck Driver – Nights

We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating reach trucks and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our facility, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of our operations.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from the racking
Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting tasks.
Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and assist in stock management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse environment.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse setting.
Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
Ability to perform load and unload tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
Proficient in basic maths for inventory management and order processing.
Experience with materials handling techniques is preferred.
Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
