Our client, a leading provider of integrated facilities management and infrastructure solutions, is seeking an experienced Hard Services Manager to oversee planned and reactive maintenance operations across the southern section of the rail lines.
This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong technical background in FM, engineering, or trades.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and support a team of engineers across multiple stations
Ensure delivery of all PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and statutory compliance tasks
Coordinate minor and project works across the estate
Work closely with Avanti’s Regional Property Manager to meet performance and safety targets
Manage and oversee subcontractors, ensuring quality and compliance
Conduct regular health and safety checks and audits
Ensure helpdesk jobs are picked up, actioned, and closed out efficiently
Travel required across sites from Staffordshire to Euston (rail pass and vehicle provided).
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in facilities management or a qualified tradesperson (electrical, gas, or fabric background preferred)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Technical understanding of building systems and compliance requirements
Ability to work flexibly and participate in an out-of-hours rota (additional pay provided).
