Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong background in construction and rail works to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role, and the successful candidate will be expected to work alongside labourers on-site while also overseeing the daily operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate on-site activities to meet project goals and deadlines
  • Work alongside laborer’s and tradespeople as part of the hands-on site team
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Maintain accurate site records and daily reports
  • Monitor use of equipment and materials, ensuring correct procedures are followed
  • Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
  • Identify and resolve issues on-site as they arise
  • Uphold company values and promote a strong safety-first culture

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in construction, with rail industry experience essential
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to work on the tools alongside the team
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance
  • Ability to read and interpret site drawings and project plans
  • Valid CSCS card or equivalent certification (if applicable)
  • PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification (preferred or required)
  • Full UK driving licence (or relevant to your region)

Desirable:

  • First Aid certification
  • SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
  • Experience working with Network Rail or similar infrastructure projects

Pay: £175.00-£195.00 per day
