Site Manager – RAIL / COMMS

3-month contract

Up to £350 per day (LIMITED RATE)

Van and Fuel card provided

We are looking to recruit an experienced Comms/Civils Site Manager who is flexible to work on projects in Kent for 8 weeks and a further 2 weeks in Leeds. Your site working locations will be organised on a weekly roster and a Van and Fuel card will be provided.

You will be responsible for checking design against contract requirements, capture snags and create processes to ensure the installation partner are aware, offer support and guidance when required.

The role as a Civils Site Manager

Hold a clear technical understanding of the project deliverables for the sites / sub stations assigned to you.
You will work closely with the PM team to ensure all aspects of the technical and commercial deliverables are understood and provisioned in the delivery plans.
Establish an appropriate reporting regime with the delivery manager, project manager and site supervisor to keep up to date on the progress of all aspects of work, against timeframes and budgets.
Undertake staff briefings including all relevant QHSE documentation.
Ensuring site works comply with all Health and Safety regulations including CDM, HSE, and Industry standards.
Attend project progress meetings, working closely with the Project Manager.
You must be familiar with the requirements of NR/L2/OHS/005 – public access.
You will hold a PTS, along with a current SMSTS.
