Role: External Salesperson (Engineering).

Location: Sheffield.

Industry: Engineering solutions provider.

Salary / Package: £35,000 – £50,000 Basic + Bonus + Car + Healthcare + Pension.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm).

Working within a knowledgeable, experienced team, the External Salesperson role is consultative in nature with a mixture of account management and new business development.

 

This role will suit an External Salesperson who loves talking engineering and providing the right solution to benefit the client. A great attitude, integrity and a consultative approach are top of the agenda for this role…

 

Role Description.
•    Management and further development of existing accounts and establishing new business.
•    Receiving internally and generating high-quality sales leads.
•    Reviewing orders, negotiating prices and closing sales.
•    Discussing equipment requirements with customers.
•    Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
•    Attending client’s sites and trade shows to market products & services.
•    Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas.
•    Working across Sheffield and the surrounding areas.

 

Skills and Qualifications.
•    Experience of selling electrical or mechanical engineering products.
•    A track record of achieving sales within an engineering business.
•    Ability to build rapport and relationships with a variety of stakeholders and decision makers.
•    Strong communication skills and organisational ability.
•    Positive attitude and willingness to learn the products.
