Setting Out Engineer

Summary

We are seeking a Setting Out Engineer to join one of our projects in Based in Oxford/Heathrow, lasting approximately 4 weeks with an immediate start. This role is vital in ensuring the successful delivery of our rail projects by overseeing on-site activities, coordinating teams, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
• Monitor progress and report on project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations.
• Assist in resolving on-site issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of site activities.
• Support the implementation of engineering solutions aligned with project specifications.
• Promote a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer.
• Strong electrical experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
