In this role, you will be exposed to a variety of engineering problems whilst providing reactive and planned maintenance to rail and rolling stock vehicles. Working within a team of multi-disciplined engineers, you will face electrical / mechanical / hydraulic / diesel engine problems and will provide full cycle engineering support from initial diagnosis to effective resolution.
This role would suit an individual with an NVQ Level 3 in any engineering discipline looking to step into a stable industry with the potential to upskill your technical knowledge. Applicants from an Armed Forces background are encouraged to apply.
The Person:
Possess an NVQ Level 3 in any engineering discipline.
Looking to increase their technical knowledge through industry-leading training.
Happy to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
The Role:
Service and maintain a fleet of rail and rolling stock vehicles.
Provide support and assistance on rail delivery shifts.
£35,000 + Premium Overtime (OTE £40,000)
