Senior Project Engineer

Our client is a tier one construction company, expected to exceed £300 million in turnover by 2026. With expertise in Civil Engineering, Demolition, Remediation, Groundworks, and RC Frames across the UK, they consistently complete high-quality residential and commercial projects, including concrete substructures and superstructures, on time and within budget. Recognized for managing complex and technically demanding projects, the company is on track to reach over £250 million in turnover by 2025.

About the Role:

Due to the rapid growth and development of our client, we are looking for an experienced, skilled Senior Project Engineer with a long-standing history of working on high value complex RC Frames and Groundworks projects from start to finish. In the role as Senior Project Engineer, you will be a crucial part of the team, reporting directly to the Project Manager. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the engineering team, whilst working closely with on-site supervisors, engineers and trades. Assisting the project manager to ensure that budgets are maintained, and deadlines are not exceeded. The first project you will be working on will be based in Milton Keynes.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in civil engineering and will have proven experience working with RC frame and groundwork packages valued at £10 million or more. You should also have a proactive attitude, and a strong technical understanding of these works. This is not a setting out role, so we need candidates who are on the cusp of management themselves and can support the Project Manager as their number two on site.
