Senior Cost Engineer

Job title: Senior Cost Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP – Subject to clearance
Duration: 18 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits:
£41.91 PAYE
£56.31 Umbrella
Location: Aldermaston
Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Applicants must have experience of the following:
– Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and cost reports
– Experience analysing market trends and reporting on them
– Experience developing PCB’s
– IT literate
– Experience operating as a cost engineer.

Role information;

Conduct SPI and CPI variance analysis and root cause analysis and provide recommendations and recovery planning in accordance with monthly reporting timescales
– Establish the project cost breakdown structure and prepare cost studies using historical data
– Provide market trend data to the project manager alongside any related recommendations
– Analyse and track resource usage and constraints and make recommendations to the project manager
– Implement processes and procedures to ensure data quality
– Prepare and control forecasts and budgets
– Prepare cost reports.
