About the job:
To provide a high level of administrative support and advice to the Security Management team and Rail Community Office Grade to ensure the teams smooth running and operation.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Produce, maintain and distribute the Rail Community Officer roster.
Administration of all security department competency records and documentation.
Management of attendance records of RCO’s and security team staff.
Minute taking at meetings when required.
Ordering of stores equipment and uniform for the RCO’s.
Processing and distribution of the security ID passes for station tenants and contractors.
Complete audits at station tenancies on a 6 month frequency to ensure tenant ID passes are compliant with records.
Undertaking administration of the external security guarding contract.
Filing and office management duties.
Assist with the planning of joint operations with other grades and the BTP.
Liaise with the RCO team leaders and the grade management to plan and book training.
Liaise with the Occupational Health Unit to book appointments.
Complete and submit security department KPI’s at the end of each period.
Additional tasks as specified by the security management team applicable to the role.
Prepare and complete purchase orders.
Administer the agreed RCO annual leave agreement as part of the roster.
Provide support to the Evidence Gathering team if/when required.
You’ll need:
Resilience and the ability to cope in a pressured environment
Very good communication skills
Good general standard of education.
Good level of numeracy
IT literate
Good knowledge of the railway environment.
Working Pattern:
On average you will work 37 hours per week, typically office hours.
