A leading provider of intelligent drive technology and services is looking for a Sales Manager within the Rail/Marine industry to drive business growth in the UK. This is a home-based, full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for service packages and spare parts.
  • Build strong relationships with OEMs, ROSCOs, TOCs, and service providers.
  • Prepare quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals.
  • Provide technical support and market insights.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions and client meetings.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the UK rail sector (marine experience beneficial).
  • Strong technical background in mechanical rail components (electrical knowledge is a plus).
  • Proven ability to develop new business and manage key accounts.
  • Degree/HNC in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

 

Package:

  • £45k – £55k (DOE) + annual bonus
  • Company vehicle
  • 25 days holiday + pension, life assurance, private healthcare & more
  • Monday-Friday schedule (36.5 hours/week)
