Sales Engineer

Location: Sheffield (Office-Based)

Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Benefits

Hours: Mon-Thu 07:00-15:30, Fri 07:00-12:30 (37.5 hrs per week)

 

The Opportunity:

A leading name in steel fabrication and machining, Tinsley Bridge Group, is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to drive business growth across multiple industries, including rail, nuclear, oil & gas, and renewables.

This senior role is ideal for a commercially astute professional with a proven track record in sales, marketing, and business development within precision-engineered manufacturing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to grow revenue in the UK and internationally.

Manage and enhance customer relationships, ensuring top-tier service and long-term partnerships.

Identify new market opportunities, research industry trends, and drive product and service innovation.

Oversee pricing strategies, competitor analysis, and CRM management.

Lead digital marketing and social media initiatives to enhance brand visibility.

Work closely with Directors on long-term business growth strategies.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Extensive knowledge of steel fabrication & machining

Strong background in new business development, sales, and marketing

Ability to identify and capture market opportunities with a strategic approach

Experience leading teams and implementing sales performance targets

Exceptional relationship management and communication skills

Data-driven mindset with a passion for commercial success.
