Field Service Engineer

Location: Rotherham

Position: Field Service Engineer

Pay rate: £32000 – £35000/annum

Zed Rail Company is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer on behalf of our client, a manufacturer of industrial machinery utilised in facilities ranging from utilities to food manufacturing. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for both service and planned maintenance on customer sites across the North of England.

Key Responsibilities:

Planned maintenance and service work on both machinery manufactured in-house but also from other manufacturers as required on client sites
Generation of accurate site reports.
Mechanical works such as changing oil filters or belts, both installation or removal of machinery as required.
Electrical work such as checking/replacing sensors, installation of motors including cabling.

Qualifications and Skills:

Engineering qualifications (ideally to HND/NVQ 3 level) or a proven track record in a related sector.
Strong Mechanical skills i.e. Materials Handling, Pneumatic systems etc.
Some Electrical skills would be desirable.
Full Driving Licence.
