Role Summary:

Lead design and manufacturing initiatives for Control & Display System solutions, working closely with sales and project teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously within a team environment
Review and design to customer specifications
Estimate project budgets and scopes, identify risks
Design systems/components meeting military standards
Understand basic electrical circuits for cockpit lighting and Night Vision Systems
Develop products through full lifecycle (design to manufacture)
Create 3D/2D CAD models and detailed drawings (BS8888 compliant)
Apply project management skills to plan and track progress
Produce technical reports and documentation as required
Continuously develop professional skills and knowledge

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum BEng (Hons) 2:1 or above in Mechanical Engineering
At least 5 years’ relevant experience
Proficient in CAD solid modelling (Inventor Pro, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and GD&T
Experience with ANSYS Finite Element Analysis software
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
Eligible for Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check
