Night Civils/Groundworker

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Civils Drainage Engineer to join our growing team, working across a variety of rail sector projects. You will be working as part of a two man team and carrying out a wide range of groundwork and drainage-related tasks. Sunday – Thursday (Nights 10pm – 6am) however you will be required to workday shifts when projects demand.

Responsibilities:

Concrete repairs, brickwork, rendering and excavation
Small to medium-scale civils works
Deep and shallow excavations
Pipe work renewals and drainage repairs
Reinstatement and general groundworks
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work under the health and safety regulations.
Liaising with wide range internal staff and providing good customer service to the general public.

Experience and qualifications for the role:

Full UK driving licence
You will have great customer service, so you’ll be able to communicate respectfully with clients and the public when necessary.
