We are seeking a Rail Works Site Manager who has a track record of working in a fast-paced environment working high value structures projects in the rail industry.

About the Role:

·       You’ll be managing multiple contracts to their successful outcome, covering both planned and reactive projects

·       Projects will be located in the LNE/LNW routes and will include maintenance, build and design

Main Duties:

·       Acquisition of materials, plant and equipment, managing sub-contractors

·       Implementation and promotion of site management plans to ensure compliance with HSQE policies

·       Preparation of site works packages and contract plans, submitting possession, isolation and traffic

·       Dealing with site paperwork as required and handling and access/traffic requests

·       Management of site personnel to include providing guidance and recognising and training or development requirements

·       Carrying out site visits as required

Requirements:

·       Experience of civil engineering construction projects

·       Railway experience (not essential but desirable)

·       You will have a good knowledge of contracts within high value structures works

·       Experience of managing more than one work site

·       SMSTS/SSSTS

·       PTS (desirable)

·       An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
