An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent position as a Rail Signalling Technical Investigation Engineer with a multidisciplinary transport and engineering consultancy.

Role:
The successful candidate will work within the Technical Investigation Centre, carrying out technical investigations in order to determine the reasoning behind why equipment or system failures have occurred.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Review of existing failure information and research of equipment specification and typical operation
Draft production of detailed investigation reports
Analysis of results in context of operational environment and further tests if required
Actively engaging with clients to establish and maintain relationships, and where possible supporting efforts to win work

Essential Requirements:

Experience or knowledge within UK Signal Engineering or another railway discipline
Working knowledge of writing draft technical reports
IRSE Technical Investigator license, or willingness to work towards this

Desirable:

Valid UK drivers license
Ability to work closely with multiple teams
