Salary of £49,000, with pay rate equivalent to approx. £26.92 per hour
Permanent contract
Working 35 hours per week from our offices in Banbury

The Role: Rail Operations and Logistics Controller (Train Running Controller)

As the Train Operations and Logistics Controller, you’ll manage the train services to ensure they meet schedules. You’ll use your outstanding organisational skills and our computer systems to allocate trains effectively to ensure maintenance and service requirements are met.

This will include monitoring train mileage, organising set and unit swaps in relation to fleet requirements, arranging for trains to use different platforms when needed, and holding regular discussions with the fleet team regarding train availability and future maintenance requirements.

Requirements: Rail Operations and Logistics Controller (Train Running Controller)

Proven experience in a railway operations, logistics, transport, or fleet role at controller level
Good geographical knowledge
Extremely organised with a keen eye for detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
