Your Role
Our Rail Delivery program is ambitious and exciting, join us as we extend the Bee Network to Rail, with a plan to provide better customer facilities on stations such as the Access for All Projects with new lifts & step free solutions, a new station for Golborne, improved rail links including connections with buses and trams, create better access to jobs and local facilities and have a greater focus on local investment and regeneration!
Working within our Projects Group, key stakeholders and industry partners, you will:
- Manage complex rail projects to time, cost, and quality standards.
- Lead project teams and coordinate with industry stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery is on time and in budget.
- Manage contracts and contractors (utilizing NEC 3 & 4 contracts), building strong working relationships with the supply chain and ensure compliance to CDM 2015 Regulations as the client representative.
- Build strong relationships across the rail sector to secure approvals and drive delivery.
You’ll work independently and collaboratively, applying project management best practices to deliver impactful infrastructure improvements.
This is hybrid role where you will be expected to work in the office and/or onsite a minimum of 2 days per week.

We’re looking for an experienced and credible Project Manager with:
- A degree or equivalent relevant experience in project management.
- A track record of leading large, complex rail or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of rail industry processes (e.g. PACE), NEC3/4 contracts, and CDM 2015.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Financial awareness and experience managing budgets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor reports and messages for technical, political, and public audiences.

These are permanent roles with a salary range of £47,539-£52,866 per annum appointment will be subject to relevant skills and experience.
