We are now recruiting for a Project Manager to lead, plan, deliver and manage our projects, supporting us in our mission in providing a safe, secure, reliable and sustainable tram service!

As our Project Manager you will be responsible for:

Initiating Projects – Preparing the initial documentation, defining the requirements, procuring technical specification and specifying quality objectives.
Planning and Resourcing – Developing and implementing the project execution plan, identifying and coordinating internal and external resources required and managing the arrangements for commercial and technical assurance.
Delivering the Project – Working with contractors to ensure the project is delivered in line with the project plan, managing changes to the project scope, schedule and costs and conducting regular risk reviews and action planning to ensure risks are managed.
Monitoring and Reporting – Regularly track, review and report on project performance and progress, identifying potential delays and cost increases and preparing financial forecasts and project reviews.
Project Close Out – Managing any and all snagging, obtaining acceptance for the delivered product from stakeholders and resolving any outstanding claims by any party.
In order to be successful in this Project Manager role it is essential that you have:

Experience of managing projects with a value of up to several million pounds.
Experience in light rail, railway or construction projects.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Project or other project planning software.
NEC accreditation or knowledge of NEC contracts.
A recognised Project Management qualification.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Experience of managing project stakeholders, resources and experience of supervising people.
It would be great if you had:

A leadership qualification.
Health and Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
