We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team to optimise contract profitability and successful delivery through effective management of key teams in accordance with requirements required by the client

Here’s a list of some of the tasks you’ll be responsible for

· Responsible for the assurance and safe delivery of rail projects

· Responsible for ensuring that company policy with regards to H&S is fully complied with

· Marketing and business development within the rail sector and representation of the overall business

· Responsible for overseeing tenders that are directly related to the Rail projects portfolio following the business process.

· Responsible for ensuring the HR related matters within the rail portfolio are recorded and reported in line with company policy

· Responsibility for the rail projects contracts, liaising with the Commercial Manager

· Responsible for developing the rail projects sector in a manner which is in line with company/group strategy

· Responsible for Key client relationships and operating in a no surprises approach

· Represent the company at meetings to deputise where required for the Head of Rail .

· Manage data collection and input for KPI monitoring

· Develop and implement appropriate benchmarking for elements of the rail project works

· Analyse data and collate for monthly reporting purposes

· Liaise with the Fleet Manager and Plant Manager to ensure all vehicle related process and procedure is up to date, whilst proving determination for damage, stolen items and fuel usage under this portfolio.

· Responsible for annual performance review, development of management staff and operatives reporting to the Head of Rail in line with company policy.

Responsible for the implementation and guidance for the training requirements for the rail projects working in conjunction with ITS.

The best candidate for this role will be someone who has been doing this kind of work previously.

You will have excellent attention to detail and be confident enough to speak with the client and the operatives.

You must have a positive can do attitude, be a proactive team player, be able to work alone and deliver under pressure; have excellent communication skills and want to work for a great company.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£70,000.00 per year

  • Project Management: 2 years (required)
