Railway Executives are looking to recruit a Project Manager from a Client Side background to work for a Train Operating Company.
Responsibilities:
- Capturing stakeholder requirements
- Generating sponsor’s remits
- Produce procurement strategy
- Produce RFCs to DfT, produce work specification / scope
- Production of procurement deliverables and take through process
- Management of design suppliers for surveys and design
- Manage delivery suppliers for construction and acting as safety lead for checking quality and safety on site.
- Participate in all relevant project and PMO reporting activities as required.
Essentials and Desirables:
- Experience working client side within the rail sector (preferably on Depots)
- NEC3 / NEC4 working knowledge
- Obtained or working towards EngTech, IEng, CEng or Equivalent.
- A PRINCE2 Practitioner/ APM PMQ qualification or equivalent.
- Health and Safety Qualification – IOSH minimum
- A postgraduate University degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Business or significant operational experience.
Location: Birmingham
Start date: 6th May
Contract Duration: 10 months.
