Railway Executives are looking to recruit a Project Manager from a Client Side background to work for a Train Operating Company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Capturing stakeholder requirements
  • Generating sponsor’s remits
  • Produce procurement strategy
  • Produce RFCs to DfT, produce work specification / scope
  • Production of procurement deliverables and take through process
  • Management of design suppliers for surveys and design
  • Manage delivery suppliers for construction and acting as safety lead for checking quality and safety on site.
  • Participate in all relevant project and PMO reporting activities as required.

 

Essentials and Desirables:

  • Experience working client side within the rail sector (preferably on Depots)
  • NEC3 / NEC4 working knowledge
  • Obtained or working towards EngTech, IEng, CEng or Equivalent.
  • A PRINCE2 Practitioner/ APM PMQ qualification or equivalent.
  • Health and Safety Qualification – IOSH minimum
  • A postgraduate University degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Business or significant operational experience.

 

Location: Birmingham
Start date: 6th May
Contract Duration: 10 months.
