Principal Design Engineer

A growing Engineering company are hiring a Principal Design Engineer to join their team working on a variety of power and substation projects.  The company specialise in the Power, Renewables and Rail sector across the UK and have a number projects in the pipeline.

As a Principal Design Engineer, you will be working on a variety of projects including substations, Overhead Lines, rail electrification and onshore/offshore windfarms.

The company are looking for the following experience;

M&E bias however civils background will be considered
Experience working on HV substation projects (132kv and above)
Good understanding of DNO and National Grid processes beneficial
Completion of UK power projects preferred.

The Principal Design Engineer role will offer:

Salary up to £85,000
Hybrid working with 2-3 days a week based in the office (office based near Watford)
