As General Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests have an outstanding experience every time they visit.

Key Responsibilities:

Takes ownership of the venue with an entrepreneurial mindset
Lead and inspire our front-of-house team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Set clear roles and responsibilities for the management team, and supervisors ensure the team are constantly being developed and that they feel well-supported and motivated
Motivate the team to provide exceptional customer service, building relationships with our guests.
Manage cashing up and locking up procedures with confidence and accuracy.
Handle cellar management, including the care and handling of real ales.
Maintain a high standard of stock control, performing regular line checks.
Uphold our tradition of excellence in hospitality, contributing to menu planning and special events.

 

Requirements:

Previous experience as a General Manager, preferably in a pub/bar setting
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
A people person with a genuine love for hospitality.
Positive thinker with the initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
Great attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
Confident in all aspects of food service.
Comfortable with cashing up and locking up responsibilities.
Experienced in cellar management, particularly with real ales.
Strong understanding of stock control and line checks.
Must hold a personal licence.
Right to work in the UK.
