eCommerce Product Lister

About the Role:

As our eCommerce Product Lister, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our online store is accurate, engaging, and easy to navigate.

You’ll be responsible for adding new products to our website, writing clear and appealing descriptions, and ensuring each listing is optimised for search engines.

 

Responsibilities:

List new products on our eCommerce platform (Shopify, eBay, etc.)
Survey, test and photograph new products
Write engaging and accurate product titles and descriptions
Upload and optimise product images
Maintain and update existing product listings
Ensure product data (SKUs, pricing, categories, inventory) is accurate
Work with our marketing team to optimise listings for SEO
Flag and correct any errors or inconsistencies
Perform basic competitor research when required
Willingness to support Footplate whilst at model railway shows if required
Assist with any other reasonable requests.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, ebay, etc)
Excellent written English and attention to detail
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and product databases
A proactive and organised approach
Interest in or knowledge of railways or model railways (a plus but not essential).
