My fantastic retail client are going through some exciting store expansion plans and are searching for a Store Design Executive on the 12 months FTC, to support this growth. Do you have VM experience at store or head office level, with some 3D visualization software knowledge/experience?

 

A role that supports the Design Manager – Store Experience to bring to life a best-inclass experience for our customers by focusing on all elements of the instore journey to drive sales and a great customer experience.

 

 

 

Role responsibilities:

– Supporting the Design Manager – Store Experience, to design and optimize retail and hospitality environments through the businesses refurbishment program
– Visit every refurb store prior to refurb to pull together the requirements for brand and VM
– Brief external contractors on work and collate costs
– Visit refurb stores regularly during the refurbishment stage to ensure store layout, brand and VM elements are being implemented to agreed brand standards
– Support store teams on the new store standards and coach them to enable them to up-keep the new styles
– Support the restaurant design project through the concept development, kit procurement and implementation via the store refurbishment program
– Support on the day-day management of the strategic store design projects – Home, Pet and Foodhall
– Work with external contractors and suppliers to design, build and implement new store kit – implemented through the strategic project trials
– Be the main point of contact during the build and installation of the strategic design projects through the store refurbishment program
– Document all store design concepts as blue prints to roll out through all future store refurbishment activity
– Manage the tracking, reviewing and analyzing of data from the refurbishment store design elements to make recommendations for future activity
– Oversee prototyping development and ensure they’re fit for purpose, in line with regulations (where appropriate) and signed off by the technical and/or Health and Safety team
– Support the implementation of new store design and visual merchandising plans

 

 

 

Preferred Knowledge & Experience. 

– VM experience either at store or head office level
– Customer focused mindset with a positive approach
– A passion customer experience and store design
– Strong organizational, planning, written & verbal skills
– Ability to interpret visual ideas through freehand sketch and 3D visualizations
– Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work as a team or independently
– Ability to build trusting relationships and manage workload
– Good attention to detail with a practical hands-on approach
– Seeks feedback and open to learning
– Proficient in Microsoft office with knowledge and experience in using AutoCAD
– Proficient in SketchUp or other 3D visualization software
– Driving license
