Day shift- 7.00am-2.45pm

Rate- £15ph overtime available

Location- Derby

TEMP-PERM

We are looking for a mechanical fitter who will be working in the rail sector. There is a depot based in Derby but will be required to work away occasionally at various sites around the country, while working away accommodation and expenses paid for.

Candidates for the Mechanical Fitter will be required to-

Knowledge and experience of servicing and repair of rolling stock rail equipment
Own tool box and able to us torque wrenches, spanners and various power and hand tools
Experience of working in the rail industry
Able to read and understand engineering drawings
Be willing to get stuck into various jobs and not mind getting dirty
Undertaking component changes and strip down and rebuild of equipment
Fault finding (Not essential) as you will be working with experienced fitters
Clean UK license but not essential as there is possibility of driving a company van
Must be happy to work away from home and stay away from time to time
Able to work on your own and in a team
