Hourly pay rate: £19.94 PAYE/£25.34Umbrella
Shifts: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30

Position Summary:

Work as part of a Logistics team led by the Stores Team Leader. The post holder’s key duties are to control materials from suppliers to key internal departments.

Key responsibilities will include;
* Express delivery needs to Suppliers
* Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for Alstom projects
* Monitor Supplier’s performances KPI’s
* Ensure and update the accuracy of material planning master data (in compliance with stock and logistic constraints)
* Create the Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) & respective Source List
* Communicate the Material Planning documents to Suppliers and follow Suppliers confirmation
* Analyse Suppliers confirmations vs. Alstom needs and evaluate the risk/impact anticipation on production/projects
* Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions
* Maintain delivery dates in terms of OTIF
* Track missing parts until stock availability
* Resolve Receiving issues (overstock, shortage, damage, documentation, etc.)
* Analyse and share deliveries performances KPI’s with different stakeholders (Internal & External)
* Contribute to new business risk assessments and mitigation action plan.

Personal Profile:

* Basic PC skills, i.e: Microsoft work/excel
* Previous experience with SAP and/or Maximo systems would be advantageous
* Must be self-motivated
* Fluent in English with good communication skills.
