Role: Specification Sales Manager

Location: Field-based, North West UK

 

Our client, a globally respected brand in architectural lighting, renowned for delivering innovative and design-led solutions, is seeking to appoint a Specification Sales Manager to drive business development and strengthen relationships within the specification market. With a strong focus on intelligent lighting systems that deliver environmental, operational, and financial benefits, this role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects with architects, designers, and consultants across the UK.

 

This is a consultative, project-led sales role focused on identifying new key accounts, nurturing long-term partnerships, and managing the full sales cycle from initial brief through to delivery. You will play a central role in promoting advanced lighting systems, facilitating tender processes, and providing high-level support to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and repeat business.

 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in specification sales—ideally within architectural lighting or a closely related industry—and be confident building credibility with stakeholders at all levels. A proactive, service-led mindset, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for lighting and design are essential.

 

Salary/Package: Up to £60,000 basic salary (depending on experience), with uncapped commission and bonuses up to 1.5% of invoiced sales. Benefits include company car, petrol card, technology.
