Job Title: Site Engineer (Night Shift)

Location: Heathrow Airport

Hours: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Contract: 12 months approx.

Pay Rate: Circa £400-£440 per night

 

 

The Opportunity:

We are working with a major infrastructure delivery partner and we are recruiting for a Site Engineer on Night Shifts to support tunnel upgrade works at Heathrow Airport.

 

This is a critical role in a high-profile live environment, ideal for an experienced engineer looking to make a real impact while earning competitive rates on a long-term contract.

 

 

Key Duties:

– Oversee and report on night shift construction works
– Support subcontractor coordination and short-term programming
– Complete QA documentation and ITP check sheets
– Ensure compliance with RAMS, permits, and site safety procedures
– Liaise with shift engineers and supervisors to ensure programme delivery

 

Requirements:

– Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
– SMSTS and CSCS certification
– Proven track record on infrastructure or civil projects
– Strong communicator with excellent site documentation habits
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced night shift environment

 

Desirable:

– Tunnel or aviation experience
– Proactive, solutions-driven attitude
