HVAC Engineer required for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. Our client offers their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.
Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, JD Sports, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, & more.
HVAC Engineer Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary up to £40,000 DOE (£50,000 pro rata for 5-day week)
Working Hours – 6:30pm to 3am x 4 nights a week
No call out rota whilst on night work (although may need to attend call outs whilst working)
Company Van – Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months’ service – Up to £3,600 tax free
Overtime paid at 1.5x
Pension
30 holidays including bank holidays (FTE) this will increase by 5 days after 5 & 10 years of service

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF’s, Split Units, Chillers, Chilled Fan Coil Units, AHUs & Cold Rooms
Key Responsibilities
Fan Coil Unit (FCU) Maintenance
Locate and access FCUs across the site.
Remove, inspect, and clean FCU filters.
Conduct general inspections of FCUs to identify wear, damage, or inefficiencies.
Repairs and Remedial works as required
BMS Operation
Switch Building Management System (BMS) modes between heating and cooling as required.
Temperature Monitoring
Record and monitor air-off temperatures to ensure system efficiency.
System & Documentation Management
Add and update asset information on SolarVista (SV)
Accurately complete maintenance sheets within SV
Log and update defect reports in SV
Complete Job Completion Reports (JCRs) and ensure timely job closure
HVAC Engineer Job Requirements
Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
Full Driving Licence
Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
